Swingin’ at the Shell is pleased to announce a Winter Concert Series at the newly renovated Bohm Theatre in downtown Albion! We love the Bohm and we love to provide concerts in Albion for all of you to enjoy! As always, these concerts are free and open to the public thanks to our generous sponsors: Caster Concepts, Parks Drug Store, Team 1 Plastics, and the Albion Community Foundation. Additionally, we are supported by the Michigan Humanities Council and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs for this Winter Concert Series.

Join us on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. for an exciting performance by this 15-piece dance band! RSO has been a crowd favorite for the past two years! They love playing at the Band Shell with the honking cars in the crowd, and they are thrilled to be coming to the Bohm. How exciting to feature a band that represents the era in which the Bohm Theatre was born! You’ll feel transported back to the great dance halls of the 30’s and 40’s with a night of true vintage swing music!
Moxie Strings
Join us on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. for an electrifying performance by Moxie Strings – described as “Top Notch Instrumental Wizardry!” With their feel-good melodies and foot-stomping, rock-influenced rhythms, this trio has put a fresh, enticing spin on Celtic and Americana music. Though rooted in tradition, The Moxie Strings offer listeners the unique opportunity to experience some of the world’s best-known instruments and oldest genres through a young, progressive lens.
